Best visit time -- Spring and Fall because of its mild temperatures.

Itineraries

At least one day:
Bryce Amphitheater -- 8 Miles, 2 hours to a full day.
The Drive to Rainbow Point -- 17 Miles, 3 hours to a full day.

Accommodations

Camping:

Total 2 campgrounds are inside the Bryce Canyon National Park.

North Campground is open year-round. Reservations can be made 240 days in advance for camping time between May 15 and September 30. through ReserveUSA.com.

Sunset Campground is open from May to September, first come first serve.

A $5 backcountry permit is required for overnight backcountry camping. Permits must be obtained in person and are issued at the park visitor center from 8:00 a.m. until two hours before sunset. No phone or email reservations.

Inside the park:

Bryce Canyon Lodge is the only lodging inside the park. Open from April 1 through October 31. You can make an on-line reservation request through Xanterra Parks and Resorts.
