Currently 2 campgrounds are operated by National Park Service. Long Pine Key
and Flamingo Campground
are open year-round.
Campgrounds can be reserved for the period mid-November through mid-April at
the National Park service reservation center, rest of year
first-come first-serve.
Chekika Campground is closed due to the damage from Hurricane Irene in October 1999.
Wilderness permits are required for all overnight camping, except in auto campgrounds or when sleeping aboard boats.
They may be obtained in person up to 24 hours before the day your trip begins.

The Flamingo Lodge (1-800-600-3813) is the only lodging available in the park.
