American Discovery Trail (ADT)

Stretching across more than 6800 miles and 15 states, the American Discovery Trail (ADT) is the only coast-to-coast, non-motorized recreational trail. Linking communities, cities, parks and wilderness, the ADT allows people to hike, bike or ride horses for an afternoon or cross-country adventure.

Appalachian Trail (AT)

The Appalachian Trail (AT) is the nation's longest marked footpath, at approximately 2,175 miles. Established in 1968 as the first national scenic trail AT houses more than 2,000 occurrences of rare, threatened, endangered, and sensitive plant and animal species, crosses six national parks, eight national forests, 14 states.

Border Route Trail

The Border Route Trail is a 65-mile long hiking trail that crosses the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness (BWCAW) in the far northeast of Minnesota (Arrowhead) and follows the international border between Minnesota and Ontario, Canada.

Buckeye Trail

For nearly 1435 miles, the Buckeye Trail winds around Ohio, reaching into every corner of the state. From a beachhead on Lake Erie near Cleveland, to an hilltop overlooking the Ohio River in Cincinnati, a hiker can experience a little of all that Ohio has to offer.

Colorado Trail

Stretching from Denver to Durango, The Colorado Trail (CT) fulfills the dreams one would expect of a high mountain educational and recreational hiking trail which connects 500 miles of Colorado's magnificent mountainsides.

Continental Divide Trail (CDT)

The vision for the CDT is a 3,100-mile primitive and challenging backcountry trail from Canada to Mexico along the backbone of America. Approximately 70% of the Trail is usable. However, many of those miles are in desperate need of repair, rerouting for sustainability, or removed from roads and motorized trails.

Finger Lakes Trail

The Finger Lakes Trail System is the main Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) from the Pennsylvania-New York border in Allegany State Park to the Long Path in the Catskill Forest Preserve. The main FLT is 562.9 miles long. There also are five branch trails and fourteen loop trails that extend from the main FLT.

Florida Trail

Florida Trail is one of the National Scenic Trail which is more than 1,400 miles across the state of Florida, with volunteers from all over Florida seeing to its maintenance, expansion, protection, and promotion.

International Appalachian Trail (IAT)

The mainland portion of the Appalachian Mountains / Les Appalaches lie between the Gaspé Peninsula of Québec and Porter Gap, Alabama. Within the IAT portion are the spectacular cliffs of Forillon National Park, where the mountains abruptly drop to the sea at the Gulf of St. Lawrence. To reach this spectacular view, the IAT/SIA links Mt. Katahdin, Mt. Carleton, and Mt. Jacques Cartier - the three highest peaks in Maine, New Brunswick and southern Québec, respectively.

Kekekabic Trail

The Kekekabic Trail Club (KTC) is dedicated to preserving and maintaining backpacking trails of the Superior National Forest and Boundary Waters Canoe Area.

North Country Trail

The North Country National Scenic Trail is a premier footpath that stretches over 4,000 miles linking communities, forests, and prairies across seven northern states. Already, more than 1,700 miles have been certified off-road.

Superior Hiking Trail

The Superior Hiking Trail is a 205-mile long distance footpath that follows the rocky ridgeline above Lake Superior in northeastern Minnesota. It begins just north of Two Harbors, MN, and ends just before the Canadian border.

Pacific Northwest Trail

The 1200 mile Pacific Northwest Trail (PNT), running from the Continental Divide to the Pacific Ocean, ranks among the most scenic trails in the world. It includes the Rocky Mountains, Selkirk Mountains, Pasayten Wilderness, North Cascades, Olympic Mountains, and Wilderness Coast. The trail crosses 3 National Parks and 7 National Forests.
