On property means stay at Disney or Universal Studios and rely on their transportation. Off property means stay at one of the many Orlando area hotels, usually Irlo Bronson Highway (US Highway 192) for Disney, International Drive for Universal Studios and Sea World. There are limited bus service at off property hotels.

Too many time shares at Orlando. Usually Time Shares deal will offer a several night stay or discounted theme parks tickets in exchange for you listening to a "two hour" sales pitch. If you really want to take advantage of it, only choose it from reputable major companies like Sheraton, Marriott and Hilton and make a decision before your trip.
Do not waste your precious vacation hours on time share pitches when you meet at Orlando streets. Those small company time share could last very long and be extremely stressful. For example, a lot of complains about Ramada Plaza Resort by google.
"I would say that our experience with both the Sheraton and Marriott timeshare offers has been quite positive. A firm 'we came for the deal, not to buy any timeshare' got them off our backs pretty quickly".
