   谢谢你的分享。另外，我有一个问题想问问你：对于ｄｏｍｅｓｔｉｃ的机票，如果我想买ｔｒｉｐ　ｐｒｏｔｅｃｔｉｏｎ，（就是临时取消机票，可以拿到ｒｅｆｕｎｄ。）我是否可以从航空公司直接买呢？如果不行，那些售票网站会卖呢？

   另外有网友推荐我们办一个和机票类似的数据库, 方便大家分享这一类包括父母来美健康保险的信息, 你觉得有会有用吗? 其他朋友也请回答, 如果人气够的话我会做一个的. 谢谢.

   Thanks, fufu. I figured out the trip protection details today after placing a few calls to the insurance agency. Since the cost is reasonable (a little over 10% of the airfare), I think I would seriously consider this extra on my future trips.

   Regarding the medical insurance for visiting parents, I personally made an effort to find out a good plan before; sadly for me, I was not happy with all the existing ones I surveyed. To put it simply, this type of short-term medical insurance is a waste of money. Most of them require high deductible and cover very limited cases (with tons of restrictions). Therefore, I ended up buying none and decided to take the risk.

   For those that like to get some ‘mental’ comfort, we sure can put up a database and invite people to share the experience. It is not only about the premium but more about how the plan actually works. So, maybe also solicit the cases where the plan was actually revoked and used.

   I was suggested by my friend to book air tickets from Beijing to Shanghai through www.bamboobookings.com. I found it very helpful, because the prices they offered are much lower than other websites.
